My family and I were traveling from Pittsburgh to Pensacola Florida. I knew something didn't feel right with the truck, but continued on anyway. We made it to Cincinnati and the transmission decided it had enough. It started slipping, shifting hard and the transmission temps were climbing. Stuck nearly 400 miles from home, knowing the truck would never get us to Florida, let alone back home. We were in quite a jam. I was googling repair places with the best reviews as fast as I could. It was 5pm and everywhere was closed or closing. Google said Mr. Transmission was closed, but it had the best rating and best reviews. Going to a dealership was just out of question..but who do you call..who do you trust?? My wife took a shot in the dark and called anyways. Miraculously, someone (Susan) answered. We explained our situation and she said to bring it right over. By this time it was well after business hours, but she stayed and helped us find a rental car (which took forever and wasn't easy to do at that particular time) so we could continue our trip, assured us everything would work out and not to stress over the car and to go have a wonderful vacation. She honestly went above and beyond to make sure our trip wasn't ruined. Most places would've just left you stranded, but she would not give up until we were taken care of. Knowing we were travelers and would becoming back through on a certain date, they did everything they could to get my vehicle in and repaired on time which was kind of asking a lot, but they did not disappoint. Being from another state, stuck between a rock and a hard place, I assumed I would be taken advantage of. They did everything but that. I'm not even sure a local shop at home could've beat their repair time or price. Susan and Jon were a pleasure to deal with and two of the nicest, honest, genuinely caring people I've ever met. Whether you are a local to Florence or traveling through, I would recommend this place to anyone/everyone.
